Like many of you, I am enjoying the news these days covering the Trump meltdown and the GOP preparing to throw that orange sack of sh*t under the nearest bus. But there is a larger picture here that we mustn’t lose sight of, and it dates back to the early twentieth century.
Now that the Republicans are finally waking up to the disaster that is Donald J. Trump, it’s a delight to watch that bloated spray-tanned turd circling the drain and knowing that he knows he’s going under. Even if he doesn’t see the writing on the wall yet (he can’t read anyway), he’s about to get a very rude awakening following his planned announcement of a 2024 run.
He is now the main obstacle to the GOP’s future plans, and he must be eliminated. Either he will finally end up in prison, or worse. The GOP and the rest of the current US government (yes, Democrats included) have been playing the long con, and The Donald played his part perfectly, like the unwitting egotistical dupe that he is.
If you follow this blog (and as always, why the hell would you?), you know that I have ranted before about the Business Plot of 1933, when a group of American financial families tried to overthrow the democratically elected government of Franklin D. Roosevelt and establish a corporate-fascist dictatorship. It’s amazing how so few Americans are aware of this historic coup, but considering the perpetrators were deemed “too big to prosecute” — ie., they were the backbone of the US economy and couldn’t be publicly shamed like that — it’s really not surprising. Having avoided any criminal charges, they soon took control of the media and controlled the narrative. History is written by the victors, after all.
The Business Plot, by the way, is the plot of a recent film entitled Amsterdam, directed by David O. Russel and with an all-star cast including Christian Bale, Margot Robbie, John David Washington, Rami Malek, Taylor Swift, Chris Rock, Robert De Niro, and Mike Myers among others (all of whom gave stellar performances, especially Christian Bale who disappeared into his role of Burt Berendsen, a physician who lost his eye in World War I).
While based on the very real events, the names were changed to protect the not-so-innocent. Specifically, all of the high finance family names of the fascist conspirators (like DuPont, Ford, and J.P. Morgan) were changed to fake industry names. Also, the name of the real-life patriot and hero who exposed the coup, General Smedley Butler, was changed to General Gil Dillenbeck, portrayed by the great Robert De Niro. Actual footage of Gen. Butler’s testimony is shown as the credits roll.
The film was widely panned by mainstream media for what I think is an obvious reason, the same reason this coup is not taught in American high school history classes, and that is that the powers that control the media, the Military-Industrial Complex, do not want this story to become well-known in the public mind, or else more people will catch on to what I am about to tell you. And that is this:
The Business Plot is ongoing. The coup continues. And it is happening right in front of our eyes. When the Roosevelt government let the whole thing slide and didn’t prosecute anyone involved in the plot, the conspirators simply went from an overt game plan to a covert one and were soon at work weaving the American intelligence agencies into one big tapestry that they could throw over the entire system. They created the modern CIA, the NSA, and the Department of Homeland Security, and these are just the tip of the iceberg as the USA currently has eighteen agencies including the Office of the Director of National Intelligence. And all of them are controlled by this shady cabal.
Yes, they supported Hitler (Prescott Bush, the patriarch of the Bush Oil, Intelligence, and Crime Family, was a huge contributor to the Nazis) but lost that war. So, they bided their time. Eisenhower caught on to their machinations but was too afraid to confront them while in office, so he simply issued a dire warning in his now-infamous televised farewell address.
Kennedy took up this torch and gave his now-infamous Secret Societies speech, in which he said such things as
“The very word ‘secrecy’ is repugnant in a free and open society; and we are as a people inherently and historically opposed to secret societies, to secret oaths and to secret proceedings. …For we are opposed around the world by a monolithic and ruthless conspiracy that relies primarily on covert means for expanding its sphere of influence–on infiltration instead of invasion, on subversion instead of elections, on intimidation instead of free choice, on guerrillas by night instead of armies by day. It is a system which has conscripted vast human and material resources into the building of a tightly knit, highly efficient machine that combines military, diplomatic, intelligence, economic, scientific and political operations. Its preparations are concealed, not published. Its mistakes are buried, not headlined. Its dissenters are silenced, not praised.”
And things went very well for him after that. He stopped the rise of fascism in its tracks and went on to win re-election with his brother Bobby, the Attorney General of the United States, alive and well by his side. Oh, wait, no…
After these horrible murders, it hasn’t mattered which party occupied the White House. Republican or Democrat, the march toward fascism continued at a steady pace as the media belched up non-issues for people to scream about at election debates to give the illusion that voting mattered. Ronald Reagan was the prince of fascism, and he single-handedly dealt the death blows to democracy by destroying the Fairness Doctrine and the American educational system, allowing the intelligence agents behind the emerging 24-hour news cycle (look into Operation Mockingbird) to indoctrinate a population no longer capable of critical thinking with whatever hogwash they wanted. The products of this one-two punch to public discourse have now grown up and are voting, and this has given us the Trump era of MAGA and QAnon idiocy, which brings us to today’s situation.
In short, there is really only one party operating in the USA today – the Corporate-Fascist Party. The entire Republicans versus Democrats puppet show is just that – a shadow play to give the people the illusion that they have a choice and to continue the effective divide-and-conquer motif of the plot. Now, here’s what’s going to happen:
Trump will be bulldozed into the ground, and deservedly so. Good riddance. The puppet players will declare a victory over the greatest threat to Democracy, the Trump coup has finally been crushed and the Republican party will purge itself of any remaining MAGA demons to get back in touch with the people. The 2022 midterms will provide a false sense of relief to freedom-loving, GOP-hating Americans, but only serve to set up a stalemate government that will get nothing done as the margin of control in Congress is too narrow. Even with Kamala Harris casting the tie-breaking vote in the Senate, she’ll never get the chance to exercise that power with such DINOs as Manchin (D-West Virginia) and Sinema (D-Arizona) still in office. It’s all RINOs and DINOs now, and they are all owned and operated by the Corporate Fascist Party.
Not that it makes much difference anyway. What did the Democrats do when they had the chance? Did they codify Roe v. Wade? Did they expand the Supreme Court? Did they push the DoJ to prosecute Trump for the January 6th Insurrection? No, no, and no. Because this was never the agenda. It’s a play-fight, and no one is really supposed to win – they’re just supposed to keep the status quo in lockstep and let the Grand Scheme play out. And now all they have to do is wait until 2024.
DeSantis – the new, hot fascist pseudo-theocratic ego “appointed by God” on the scene – will run for the presidency. Trump will be removed as an obstacle to avoid a split ticket (if he’s lucky, they’ll just send him to prison), and the Democrats will play along and run their most unelectable candidate yet – 82-year-old and unpopular incumbent Joe Biden, who they know has no chance of winning. The fears of a “coup” having been abated by the Trump puppet show will allow DeSantis an easy and unquestionable victory to sweep into power, and boom – the Corporate Dictatorship emerges as though organically, via the great democratic power of the vote. It has to appear to have been organic or else there will be uprisings. But even if there are a few scattered protests here and there, the Corporate Fascist Party is ready – they have been grooming their brutish militarized police force from day one.
I live overseas (still), and I can tell you this: No one wants to go to America anymore, not even us Americans. All of my foreign friends — from the UK, Canada, Australia, South Africa, New Zealand, South Korea, even Russia — all cite the same reason: They are afraid of the police in the USA – the police they see in the media every day, who shoot first and ask questions later. The police who brutalize and beat anyone on a whim, and if you end up in the hospital in the US, you’re doubly screwed as they will saddle you with a medical bill upwards of $30 grand.
American media has desensitized the US population to the idea that the police are violent and will murder both the innocent and guilty, openly and without repercussion. (We are still trying to get justice for Breonna Taylor.) This is a prerequisite in the rise of any fascist regime. America is ripe for the fall; all of the pieces are finally in place. And guess what? It’s not just America. It’s a global conspiracy, and while my friends from other lands may have good reason to fear the US police, they should fear their own governments just as much. The UK, France, Italy, Russia and China… the world is bottlenecking to a global oligarchy of corporate greed.
Who will emerge as the Top Dog, the one with the iron fist around the world? Well, we’re going to need another World War to decide that. These days, it’s all about the Noosphere and the “Noopolitic.” Stay tuned. But as far as the USA is concerned, the Business Plot never stopped. In fact, it is about to succeed.
